A private press founded in 2007 and featuring letterpress printed cards; broadsides; chapbooks; and philatelic and misc. ephemera using hand set type and traditional methods. Also producing copper plate intaglio, linoleum block, and hot foil printing. Special services include pinhole and standard perforating; creasing and scoring; numbering; and wire binding.

Wow, where did you get that? Is it something made by a guy in one of the local printshops or more of a national joke made by a parts supplier or something?

It was printed by the "Print Shop; Jonathan Dayton Regional High School; Springfield, NJ" in the 1960's. It's actually on a 8 1/2 X 11 inch sheet and I cropped the scan so it would be more visible.
This was the print shop class that Stanley Grossman taught. I posted a short bio of him previously and its his press that now sits in my shop. I'm still in touch with him and am helping him sell some more equipment he has from his home shop. Need a paper drill or a Challenge 19 1/2" hydraulic paper cutter? Hmmm. Not in that apartment, eh?
What did you think of the "Family Affair" photo? It's one of my favorites.
Are you loving the Pearl?
It's so great that you have all this history associated with your presses and other shop stuff. I've got vague, undocumented history on mine, but I'd love to learn more.
I do love the Pearl; I'm still getting the hang of treadling and feeding but I'm getting better.
Oh, I wish I could fit a paper cutter in here, but it's not in the cards right now.
